Welcome to Church Barn, a 150 year old small building which could easily have been called “Wonky Barn” and is now entering yet another chapter of varied uses over the years.

The construction is as original as possible whilst meeting current regulations. As such the walls are stone and covered in lime plaster. This allows the barn to breath as was originally intended without cavity walls.

After an extensive renovation the barn has been protected for the future and we are pleased to invite you to enjoy all it has to offer in this perfect location. Over Haddon is a small village enjoying a diverse and active community. The Lathkil Hotel is an award winning public house with panoramic views across Lathkill Dale and the perfect place to end the days activities. Bakewell is the nearest town just under 2 miles away where you will find supermarkets, shops, cafes and pubs along with the infamous “Bakewell Pudding” (no tarts around here). Numerous walks, cycle routes, stately homes, bustling towns, pretty villages and stunning views await you in all temperatures and weathers. The Peak District is a different backdrop in every season, each as beautiful as the next.
